Työni lähtökohtana on inhimillisyyden käsite ja tarinat, joita se ympärillämme synnyttää. Olen lapsesta asti katsonut maailmaa kyltymättömällä uteliaisuudella ja tahtonut ymmärtää, tallentaa ja toistaa näkemääni muille. Mitä vanhemmaksi olen tullut, sitä vaikeammaksi on kuitenkin tullut löytää sanoja kuvaamaan sitä kaikkea, minkä tahtoisin muille näyttää. Siksi pyrin taiteilijana kertomaan eri menetelmiä hyödyntäen tarinoita, tunteita ja ajatuksia, joista katsoja voi löytää itsensä tai jonkun, joka tuntuu etäisesti tutulta.

The basis for my work is the concept of humanity and the stories it creates around us. Since childhood I have looked at the world with insatiable curiosity and wanted to understand, record, and retell others of what I see. The older I have grown, however, the harder it has become to find the words to describe everything I wish to show people. That is why, as an artist, I attempt to capture in various mediums the stories, feelings and thoughts in which the viewer might find themselves or a fracture of someone distinctly familiar.
